Logo component

This knowledge base article covers the Logo component in the Label Designer. The Logo component allows you to add simple graphics or images to your label, such as a company logo or industry standard symbol.
You can choose from:
  • Global Logos - A predefined library of commonly used logos, including symbols like the RFID logo (to indicate RFID-enabled tags) and the EPC logo (for SGTIN-96 encoded tags).
  • User Uploaded - custom uploaded image which allow you to apply your company’s branding or include other relevant icons.
Important Note on Image Quality:
Due to printing limitations on RFID label printers, only black and white images are supported. For best results, use high-contrast, line-based graphics without fine detail or grayscale shading.

The Logo component makes it easy to visually communicate compliance, product compatibility, or brand identity directly on your printed RFID tags.

For an overview for how to upload your own Logos, see this knowledge base article.

Adding a new Logo Component

To add a logo element to your label, select Logo from the Components section of the toolbox. This will insert a new Logo component into your label design.

To modify a Logo's properties, click on the component once to open its popup menu, then click the Edit icon. From there, you can choose a different Logo to render or adjust other settings related to the component.

Editing Logo Properties

You can adjust the which Logo will be rendered and adjust the size of the image on the label.

Logo Type
You can choose from two types of logo sources:
  • Global Logos
Select from a predefined library of standard industry logos, such as:

    • The RFID symbol, indicating RFID capability

    • The EPC logo, signifying SGTIN-96 or EPC-compliant encoding

  • User Uploaded
Choose from custom images you have previously uploaded to your account. This is ideal for applying your company’s logo or other brand elements.

If you haven’t uploaded any images yet, you’ll need to do so from the Upload Logo tool before they become available for selection.  See Knowledge Base on Uploading Custom Logos.

Scale Image
Use the slider to adjust the size of the logo on the label. This lets you scale the image up or down to better fit your design without needing to upload various sized logos.

Editing Logo Position

You can configure the alignment of the component using one of four modes: Free Form, Left Justified, Centered, or Right Justified. These settings control how the component behaves horizontally within the label layout.

Free Form
Free Form allows you to freely drag and position the Logo anywhere on the label without alignment constraints.

Centered
The Logo will be automatically centered horizontally within the label. You can still drag the component vertically to adjust its position within the label.

Left Justified / Right Justified
Align the component to either the left or right edge of the label, respectively. You can also configure a horizontal padding value to offset the component slightly inward from the edge. As with other alignment modes, vertical placement remains adjustable by dragging the component up or down in the layout.
